SYRIA CRISIS APPEAL
The crisis in Syria is the biggest humanitarian catastrophe of the 21st century and the United Nations estimates that at least 2500,000 people have died and the death toll continues to rise daily.
Half the Syrian population have had to flee their homes, and more than 5.2 million people are now refugees.
The UN has warned of a ‘looming humanitarian catastrophe’ as more than 4.5 million people are trapped in besieged towns and hard to reach areas. Syria needs a sustained ceasefire immediately to stop the killings of innocent civilians and allow people to get the humanitarian aid they so desperately need.
Over 5 million people have fled the horrific violence in Syria, half of them children – and every day thousands more terrified women, boys and girls pour over the border to join them. These children have experienced fear and abuse that no child should have to go through. It’s wrong that even one child should suffer like this.
Save the Mothers Trust is working with partners to provide the afflicted people with clean water, food, medical care and clothing. We need extra funding to continue our essential work with families affected. Please donate today and help us reach every child that needs us.
Please help to provide food packages, warm blankets and other essentials to vulnerable individuals and communities.
Please help to support those suffering as a result of violent conflict across Syria by donating to the Syria Crisis Appeal.
Syria has been affected by conflict for almost 7 years and the violence shows no sign of abating. The refugee crisis this has caused is rapidly worsening.
